Animal Advocates will be holding the Top Hat & Tails Gala at the Fair Barn this year. The date is December 7th 2009, a Monday. If you are not familiar with the past Top Hat & Tails events, it was an event designed to get black dogs, black cats and black and white dogs and black and white cats adopted. Black dogs and cats are the last to be adopter.

We will need some volunteers to help with this event since many, many people attend. We will need handlers one per dog to walk around the Fair Barn and show off the dog. The cats will be in kennels and one person can handle maybe 3 to 6 kennels and the questions adopters might ask. Antique cars will deliver the dogs to the entrance where they will be introduced by Angela Zumwalt as they walk down the red carpet.

If you think you will be available on Dec 7th from 5pm until 9pm please let us know now. It is not too soon for us to know since it takes months to get everything lined up to run smoothly.

AAMC will be serving food and there will be an orchestra.
