When you sign up for your new hosting account with ConnectNC, the first thing you should do is explore your control panel. In this article, we will point out the features of your cPanel control panel. What is cPanel? It's a program that we've installed on our servers to make your life as a web administrator much easier. We've also provided software that allows you to install a variety of useful applications in just a few clicks. With cPanel (as the administrator), you can:

  • Manage email accounts (add new ones, delete unused ones, set quotas)
  • Create email forwarders
  • Set up a web log analytics program
  • Have access to your web files
  • Create a site backup
  • and more

Check it out. Log into your control panel and have a look. To get to your control panel, simply go to https://yourdomain.com/cpanel. You'll be redirected to a secure login page. Use the login and password you were given when you signed up for your hosting account. Make sure to replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain name (web address).
